True Grit: Proof that Hollywood is getting lazier.

I know True Grit is kinda old, but I finally got around to watching it, and found this embarrassingly obvious mistake which confirmed my looming suspicions that Hollywood is getting lazier and people are getting easier to feed bullshit.

This all happened at the big climactic end of the movie within a few hundred yards.

Also keep in mind that the budget for this film was thirty eight million dollars.

They rode past a perfectly good horse,

and the girl lost her arm like an idiot.

I'm willing to look over this fact. Maybe the horse had a magic curse on it? I don't know.. but what about these?

Did he just run everywhere? Is he the Forest Gump of the Wild West?

Regardless of all these immediate options, the Marshall and the girl double-mount and ride off, eventually to have the horse collapse of exhaustion. Then the Marshall carries the girl the rest of the way, and they chop her arm off because she was too slow to the hospital.

It's basically amateur hour. This isn't a powerline off in the distance. This is just clear-cut neglect and laziness.

Anyway, to cope with my frustration, I made a movie poster for a film I'd rather have spent my time watching. It's called True Grid. It also has Jeff Bridges. It's better, trust me.
